Diego Ventura's poker journey began in 2012 when he discovered the game as a student studying abroad in Brazil. He started playing Sit & Go's and MTT's and saw poker as an alternative to the traditional path. He spent his time learning the game and after a year, he placed third in a Sunday Millions tournament, which was the catalyst for his professional poker career.
Over the next two years, he worked hard and achieved great success by winning over $900K and finishing second in the 2015 PCA, after qualifying in a $100 satellite. His achievements made him an inspiration to many aspiring Peruvian poker players.
Diego continues to live the life of a professional poker player and enjoys every moment of it. He has won the Main Event of the Caribbean Poker Fiesta, the European Cup at the Battle of Malta, and more. Currently, he is ranked as the #1 winner from Peru by the Hendon Mob.
